R31 Academy: A Citizen’s Guide to Local Public Schools

Registration Opens June 15, 2026

Overview

In an effort to build deeper connections and understanding with all stakeholders in our community, the Rolla 31 School District plans to launch a citizen education program beginning in September 2025. This year-long program is designed to engage and inform citizens through presentations, tours, and activities.

Mission

The R31 Academy will provide Rolla citizens with a hands-on, interactive public information program that familiarizes and gives them a true behind-the-scenes view of Rolla Public Schools. The Academy will provide insight into the inner workings of the district, promote open lines of communication, and provide opportunities for citizen feedback.

Recruiting

Each year, the academy will enroll up to 40 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. All residents of the district are welcome and encouraged to apply. Applications can be submitted via the form button above or by calling 573-458-0100. Those not admitted will be placed on a waiting list and will receive communication regarding registration for the following school year.

Schedule & Topics

R31 Academy will be held on a set day of the month (TBA) from 6-8 pm. Dinner and childcare will be provided.
