Back To School Guide

Back To School 2026
A Message From The Superintendent
Dear Patrons, Parents, and Students,
On behalf of the Rolla Public Schools family, welcome to our district and community! We are fortunate to live and work in a community where education is valued, and our public schools are supported. We have amazing faculty and staff who are genuinely caring and passionate people, working daily to help every child reach their full potential. Students are supported in a positive learning environment to ensure they each have the greatest opportunity for success.
Our focus is on the academic and personal growth of each student. We offer a thorough and rigorous educational program that includes college-preparatory paths as well as career and technical opportunities. We also encourage a variety of programs and opportunities that reinforce key skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and goal setting. Our efforts start at the pre-kindergarten level and continue throughout high school. Involvement in such activities, along with a strong academic foundation, better prepares our students for success. Our goal is simple: we aim for all students to graduate from high school as career-ready, productive citizens with real-world potential. Learn today, lead tomorrow!
The collective focus for the upcoming year is centered on community. We know that the greatest chance for success for our students comes directly from shared partnerships. Students, parents, school personnel, and all of our community stakeholders have a shared responsibility to ensure that we are working together to provide the best possible educational outcomes. We look forward to strengthening our relationships and expanding these partnerships to continue providing meaningful opportunities for all students.
Our goal as a public school is to ensure that all children receive a quality education. We offer a variety of programs and pathways, designed to meet this challenge. This guide is designed as an introduction to our school district and as a starting point for building foundational relationships. If you need additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
I wish you the very best in all that you do and look forward to serving you during the 2026-27 school year. Have a great year! GO BULLDOGS!
Respectfully,
Dr. Kyle W. Dare
Superintendent
