Unauthorized Phone Calls

We’ve been made aware that citizens in the region are receiving phone calls from what appears to be the main district phone number (573-458-0100). There is no message content to the calls when answered. The Rolla Police Department is investigating and has determined that the calls are originating from an out-of-town, unauthorized user. If you receive one of these calls with no message content, please hang up immediately. If the caller harasses or threatens you, please report the call to RPD. A legitimate call from the Rolla School District will always come from a staff member or contain content from our mass communications system.

At this time, the incident does not appear to include any student or family data, nor does it appear to involve any of our communications vendors. We appreciate the quick response from the Rolla Police Department and hope the issue is resolved quickly. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
