This weekend our Rolla High School FBLA team traveled to Springfield in order to compete in our State Leadership Conference. First of all, I want to express what a joy it is to chaperone and advise such an exceptional group of students. Other schools have issues with behaviors - all sorts of things associated with having high school students on overnight stays. We have no such issues. Our students behaved like the professionals we expect to turn them into. Next, we performed exceptionally well this year. I can honestly say that we had more students in those harder performance events than ever before. Furthermore, more of them were finalists and placed in those events than in years past. Our state winning results are as follows:

1. Introduction to Public Speaking - Isaac Brooks - 9th Place
2. Business Ethics - Team of Madeline Castle and Abigail Dereberry - 3rd Place
3. International Business - Team of Jedidiah Brophy and Savannah Salts - 6th Place
4. Supply Chain Management - Angie Richardson - 4th Place
5. Introduction to Business Procedures - Jedidiah Brophy - 6th Place
