WELCOME PRE-KINDERGARTEN AND KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS!
We are excited to announce screening dates and instructions for our incoming Kindergarten and Pre-K students joining us in the 2023-24 school year. All Kindergarten and Pre-K screenings will be held at Rolla Technical Center, 500 Forum Drive. Please call the Early Childhood Office at 573-458-0193 or email [email protected] to schedule an appointment. Once you have secured your appointment time, please fill out an enrollment application for your child in our online system at this link: Incoming Kindergarten & Pre-K Student Enrollment. Screening dates are as follows: January 24 & 25; February 14 & 15; April 11, 12, 18, & 19; & May 3
If your child is already enrolled in Pre-K at Rolla Public Schools, there is no need to make an appointment. Students will be screened in their classrooms during the school day on March 1st and 8th (Wyman) and March 15th and 16th (Truman and Mark Twain).
You will need to bring your child, your photo I.D., the child’s immunization record, legal birth certificate, and proof of residency (a utility bill, lease, rental agreement, or real estate tax statement). Students entering Pre-k must turn 4 on or before July 31, 2023, and students entering kindergarten must turn 5 on or before July 31, 2023.
If you do not have access to the Internet, you can complete your student's enrollment on a computer at the Welcome Center, 500 Forum Drive, 2nd Floor.
Once the online registration application is submitted, you will receive an email letting you know the application was successfully submitted. Once a RPS Welcome Center Staff processes your application, you will receive another email with more information on how to complete the registration process.

Items needed to complete the registration process:
- Proof of Residency: Current electric bill, or rental/lease agreement (dated within last 45 days) or paid real estate tax receipt. (If you are unable to provide proof of residence in your name because you are living with another person/family, then the person with whom you are living will need to attend the meeting with the Registrar and provide photo ID and proof of residency in his/her name).
- Parent photo I.D.
- Student's birth certificate (a copy is sufficient)
- Immunization record (Find exemption forms here)
- Any legal documents (guardianship documents, custody documents, etc.)
FREE/REDUCED MEAL APPLICATION: Free and Reduced Meal Applications for the 2023-2024 school year will be available July 2023.
