CHELSEA JOHNSON NAMED ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL OF ROLLA JUNIOR HIGH
The Rolla Board of Education is pleased to announce the selection of Mrs. Chelsea Johnson as the next Assistant Principal of Rolla Junior High School, effective July 1, 2023.
Mrs. Johnson is originally from Laquey, MO, and graduated from Camdenton High School. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a Master’s Degree in Secondary Curriculum and Instruction from Drury University, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Missouri State University.
Mrs. Johnson began her career as a Paraprofessional in the Waynesville school district in 2012, then moved to Dixon High School where she taught Biology for 7 years. She then served as the Principal of Plato Secondary School in Plato, MO for one year before returning to Dixon taking on the role of High School Principal in 2021.
Mrs. Johnson and her husband have one daughter, Renleigh, and they enjoy spending time outdoors with friends and family. When asked about her move to Rolla Public Schools, Mrs. Johnson said, “I am very excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the Rolla Junior High team. I look forward to building relationships and supporting each other as we all grow together.” Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Johnson to the Rolla Bulldog community.
